YaniSs Odua vient de fêter ses vingt ans de carrière et il nous offre avec son nouvel album « Moment Idéal » un véritable petit bijou musical.
Douze titres de Reggae pur agrémentés de vibes parfois latinos, parfois urbaines, toujours universelles, qui posent le chanteur martiniquais comme l’une des voix de l’année avec laquelle il faudra compter.
Peu d’artistes possèdent comme lui dans leur répertoire un hymne reggae incontournable tel que l’anthologique morceau «La Caraïbe». Avec «Rouge, Jaune, Vert» et «Chalawa», ses nouveaux singles, il ajoute 2 nouveaux Hits à son répertoire qui fait déja des ravages en live.
Artiste multi-cartes ayant démarré sur scène à l’âge de 12 ans, il a, depuis 2002 et la sortie de son album «Yon pa Yon» (Sekel/SonyMusic) unanimement salué par la critique, participé à l’aventure du label Legalize Hits, sur lequel il sortira le projet «High Tunes », nominé aux Trophées des Arts Afro-Caribéens, et « Hit 2 Hits » qui a remporté le trophée du Meilleur Album de l’Année 2008 aux Victoires du Reggae.
Véritable show man, il a déjà donné plus de 800 concerts et tourne inlassablement depuis le début de sa carrière en séduisant le public Reggae francophone mais également une plus large audience comme le prouvent les duos qu’il a posé régulièrement avec des artistes de la carrure de Tiken Jah Fakoly, ou bien encore Ky-Mani Marley.
