BIO

Sofiane Zermani, plus connu sous son seul prénom, est un rappeur originaire de Seine-Saint-Denis. Il fait ses premières armes au milieu des années 2000 en signant plusieurs collaborations et featurings sur quelques mixtapes. Élevé au Blanc-Mesnil (rebaptisé Blankok par les rappeurs de la ville), Sofiane s’illustre d’abord sur le label Karismatik, géré par Kenza Farah, dès l’année 2005, puis sort deux ans plus tard un premier street album intitulé Première Claque, dont les instrumentaux sont signés Nock–Pi et Instukshen.

Avec un style urbain et acéré, Sofiane poursuit sa carrière et enregistre un deuxième effort intitulé La Vie de Cauchemar. Cette mixtape lui permet de s’extraire peu à peu de l’univers underground dans lequel il était cantonné jusqu’alors et de toucher un plus large public. C’est en novembre 2011 qu’il revient avec la mixtape Blacklist. Un premier single, « Normal Natural », précède cette sortie qui confirme l’élargissement du public du rappeur du Blanc-Mesnil.

Sofiane est de retour en juin 2013 avec la suite Blacklist II, sur laquelle figurent Léa Castel, Mac Tyer, Dosseh, et Rohff. Il lui faut ensuite quatre ans pour fomenter son troisième album, le temps de convaincre la maison de disques Capitol de le signer. Il en résulte #JeSuisPasséChezSo, qui témoigne de son flow impeccable et de son talent pour les punchlines percutantes. Ninho, MHD et Kalash Criminel y participent à ses côtés.

En 2017, le rappeur dévoile une série de singles qui s’illustrent en bonne place dans le classement des meilleures ventes en France : « Bandit Saleté », « Toka », « Tout l’monde s’en fout » et « Mon p’tit loup ».
